Resume'
I am a full-time sculptor working on both public and private commissions.  
My studio is located in the small waterfront village of Oriental, North
Carolina.  For more than 35 years, I have developed a wide range in both
style and use of materials.  
Although I concentrate regionally, my work can be found in collections
throughout the east coast and mid-west.

Current Competition
    Finalist -  NC Arts Council School Public Art Residency Program for the
    Southside High School Project.

    Imperial Center, Rocky Mount, NC Salmagundi X – both indoor and outdoor
    exhibits.
    East Carolina University Indoor Sculptural Invitational, Greenville, NC.
    Invitational Woodworking Exhibit – Kinston, North Carolina.

    Beaufort County Arts Council, Washington, NC – Juried indoor exhibition with
    honors.

Ferree Trailers, Inc., Dream Catcher.

Recent Commissions  
    Oriental, NC  -  Oriental Dragon  A public commission, it is a floating sculpture
    of cement and glass on the town salt pond.  
    Chapel Hill, NC  -  The Spark  Commissioned for a private residence, it is 9’
    overall length in copper and gold.
    Oriental, NC  -  Lollipops  Commissioned by the Rotary Club of Oriental for
    installation in a local park.

Selected Previous Commissions                
    Elon University, Elon College, NC  -  Metamorphosis of Creativity, a four panel
    work in copper with each piece approximately 8’ diameter.
    City of Kinston, NC  - public bench project.
    Town of Kennels Beach, NC  -  Gator Bench,  a commission to memorialize
    the town’s founder.

Recent Purchase
    Meredith College, Raleigh, NC.  Outdoor figurative wall piece.

    Eastern North Carolina Regional Artists Grant , 2004
    Rocky Mount Arts Council Juried Exhibit – top honors.
    World Trade Center Memorial Competition – special recognition for
    submission.

    Founding member of Art on the Neuse, an organization to showcase artists in
    Pamlico County, NC.  First exhibition was held September 10, 2005.
